If you've ever felt like the only one in the room advocating for a more child-led, affirming approach... you are not alone.

Maybe you're here because...

You believe in connection over compliance, but your setting keeps pushing toward behaviorist strategies

✓ You feel like you're spending your sessions managing behavior rather than making a real impact

✓ You're exhausted from being the only voice on IEP teams questioning compliance-based approaches

✓ You know there's a better way to support autistic students, but you're tired of figuring it out alone

And when you keep trying to do this all alone:

You start questioning your clinical judgment...even when you know you're right.

You water down your values to fit into systems that don't share them.

You spend hours creating goals and resources from scratch.

You feel the weight of being "the difficult one" in meetings.

When you join The Child-Led Collective, you'll get the support and community that you need to find joy in this work again.

I built The Child-Led Collective because I've been exactly where you are.

Hi, I'm Nicole! As a speech therapist, I spent years exhausted by the compliance-based tactics that were framed as 'best practice' and 'just part of the job.'

But when I spoke up, I was told I was "too sensitive." So I learned to doubt myself.

Everything changed when I got severely injured in a session, and felt that my students were not safe in their classrooms.

I asked my supervisor a simple question: "Would you send your own child to this school?" His hesitation told me everything I needed to know.  If it wasn't okay for his child, why was it okay for anyone else's?

This experience made something painfully clear: I could not, and would not, continue to participate in a system that was actively causing harm to autistic children. So, I made a shift.

Over the past several years, I've worked with hundreds of speech therapists and educators to build sustainable, child-led practices that honor their values without leading to burnout. I've developed frameworks, rubrics, and systems that translate child-led approaches into compliance-heavy settings—so you can do this work AND feel good doing it.

Inside The Collective, you'll find a community of 200+ professionals who are living proof that there is a better way to support autistic kids.

"The Child-Led Collective is easily the best professional community I’ve ever joined."

Before becoming a member, I often felt stuck trying to make my sessions both neurodiversity-affirming and measurable.

Working in the schools, I thought that meant I had to stick to a traditional therapy model.

Joining the Collective completely changed that.

My confidence has grown so much, and the way I plan and run my sessions has completely transformed.

Now, my sessions are fun, engaging, and I’m seeing real progress. My students are more motivated, behaviors have decreased, and therapy just feels good again.

-Jordyn F., Speech-Language Pathologist

Maybe You're Thinking...

✗ I'm already so busy—how do I know I can make time for this?

I get it — the last thing you need is one more thing on your plate.

That’s why the Collective is designed to fit into your life, not complicate it.

You can pop into the Voxer chat for support between sessions, listen to the private podcast on your commute, and use our ready-to-go resources instead of creating everything from scratch.

Members actually save hours each week because they’re no longer doing this work alone.

✗ What if my workplace doesn't support child-led approaches?

You’re not alone — that’s one of the most common challenges our members face.

You can’t change your entire system overnight, but you can change how you show up within it.

The Collective gives you practical language for advocating with administrators, tools that meet compliance requirements and honor your values, and strategies for building bridges with colleagues who don’t yet understand child-led practice.

You don’t have to create change alone — you’ll have a community walking with you every step of the way.

✗ I'm new to child-led practice. Will I be behind other members?

Not at all — being new often means you’re more open and ready to learn.

The Collective supports professionals at every stage, from those just discovering child-led approaches to seasoned practitioners refining their craft.

Your fresh perspective adds value here, and our step-by-step resources and workshops ensure you’ll build confidence without ever feeling overwhelmed.

✗ "What if I join and it's not the right fit?"

You can cancel anytime. No contracts, no pressure, no guilt. Stay for as long as it feels supportive, and leave if it doesn't.

We're here to support you in whatever way feels best for you.
